Memorial Gardens

A Memorial Garden is a soothing way to honor a life, now lost but not forgotten. I created a memorial garden to our son Isaac, whom we lost after four minutes of life. You can read his story, and about what God taught us through his amazing little life at Losing Isaac. I intentionally chose the most depressing part of my yard and each year, am working to transform it into a living work of art. Every time I see the flowers in bloom, I am reminded of how only Jesus Christ can take a hopeless situation and turn it into a fountain of life and joy. On this page, you can follow my odyessy of transforming this still work-in-progress into a work of art. You can also share your encounters with memorial gardens.
